JadeSpider™ Acrylic Micro-fiber is the product of Acrylic ultra-short fiber processed by surface treated and has very good dispersing property. The Micro-fiber has a good toughness and is less prone to breaking in the mixing process. It has good interfacial adhesion to the majority of resins due to its rich in polar CN groups. Acrylic Micro-fiber can be widely used as excellent substitute of asbestos in friction materials and building materials, especially as the thixotropic agent in chemical building materials as paint, coatings, adhesives, grouting, and so on, which has the following advantages:
Obvious thixotropic effect. Micro-fibers improve the viscosity and prevent drops hanging, while shear thinning due to the fiber orientation during the operation gives greatly facilitate for construction as smearing and scraping etc.
Good dispersion. Micro-fibers with good dispersion by special surface treatment make each component in the formula into the uniform distribution and inhibit stratification and prevent the reflective.
Anti-cracking. Web structure can be formed in system due to the fiber three-dimensional structure, which can prevent the shrinkage and drying crack.
UV resistance. Excellent anti UV performance of acrylic fiber makes it suitable for outdoor paint, coating ect.
Acrylic Chooped fiber
JadeSpider™ Acrylic Chopped fiber is the short-cut fiber with surface treated, having excellent corrosion resistance, good adhesive to matrix, which can be used as the part replacement of aramid pulps and acrylic pulps in the friction and sealing materials to reduce the cost. It can also be applied in the cement based building materials as the anti-cracking fibers.
